Chilli con carne bean burger
Turn traditional chilli con carne into a snappy street food snack or dinner with these delicious chilli bean burgers.

Ingredients
Burgers
2 spring onions chopped
1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
400g kidney beans
400g chickpeas
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 egg
Small handful of corriander
1 tbsp salt
Black pepper
1 tbsp flour for dusting
Toppings + bun
4 brioche buns
Sprinkle of sesame seeds
Small handful of spinach
1 tomato, thinly sliced
4 gherkins, thinly sliced
75g creme fraiche
1/2 tsp of paprika
Sweet chilli sauce
Method
Place the Burger ingredients into a food processor and blitz until a corse mixture forms.
Devide the mixture into 4 and shape into 4 patties. Dust with flour and pop in the fridge for 10 minutes or up to an hour.
Meanwhile mix the creme fraiche and paprika together.
In a large frying pan add a little olive oil over a medium to high heat, add the patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
Cut the buns in half, brush with a little olive oil and sprinkle your sesame seeds on top. Fill your buns with a layer of spinach, your bean burgers followed by sliced tomato, gherkins, chilli sauce and your paprika creme fraiche.
Serve with skin on chips or sweet potato fries.
